On Sunday, June 5th, HELPCO went to Amber Creek Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began around 1:00 pm and lasted until almost 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked noticeably improved. The HELPCO volunteers did their best and were motivated by their desire to make a difference. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to improve our communities.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, June 12th, at Quebec Highlands Park. The park is located at 13795 Spruce St in Thornton (80602). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
