On Sunday, September 30th, HELPCO went to Cherry Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until about 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked great. The HELPCO volunteers once again received acknowledgement by citizens in the area. HELPCO continues making a positive impact on the community.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, October 7th at Glencoe Park. The park is located at 5280 E 112th Ct in Thornton (80233). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
