On Sunday, October 24th, HELPCO went to Columbine Meadows Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began around 1:00 pm and lasted until almost 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked noticeably improved. The HELPCO volunteers did their best and were motivated by their desire to make a difference. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to improve our communities.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, October 31st, at Columbine West Park. The park is located at 12643 Hazel St in Broomfield (80020). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
