On Sunday, September 4th, HELPCO went to Eastlake Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began around 10:00 am and lasted until almost 11:00 am. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked noticeably improved. The HELPCO volunteers did their best and were motivated by their desire to make a difference. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to improve our communities.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, September 11th, at Hunters Glen Park. The park is located of E 128th Ave in Thornton (80241). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
