On Sunday, August 18th, HELPCO went to Fairfax Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked fantastic. The HELPCO volunteers were thankful to help and motivated by their desire to make a difference. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to improve our communities.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, August 25th, at Los Valientes Park. The park is located at 7300 Magnolia St in Commerce City (80022). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
