On Sunday, September 9th, HELPCO went to Fallbrook Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 11:00 am and lasted until about 12:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked phenomenal. The HELPCO volunteers once again received appreciation by citizens in the area. HELPCO continues to be dedicated and determined to have a positive impact on the community.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, September 16th, at Skylake Park. The park is located at 5106 E 119th Pl in Thornton (80233). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
