HELPCO held a preserve and enhance the environment event at Hugh G. Danahy Park on Sunday, December 16th. The cleanup began at 1:00 pm and lasted until about 2:00 pm. By the conclusion of the event the park and surrounding streets looked amazing. The HELPCO volunteers were happy to help and thankful to be there. At the end of the event, there was another beautiful park and time well spent. The next preserve and enhance the environment event for HELPCO will be on Sunday, December 23rd at Rotary Park. The park is located at 10700 Pecos St in Northglenn (80234). The event is set to begin at 1:00 pm in the park and then spread out onto the surrounding areas. The cleanup is scheduled to last for 1 hour but the time will be extended if needed. Look for the HELPCO shirts if you would like to join us.
