HELPCO held a preserve and enhance the environment event at Kiwanis Park on Sunday, January 17th, 2021. The cleanup began around 1:00 pm and lasted until about 2:00 pm. By the conclusion of the event the park and surrounding streets looked better than before. The HELPCO volunteers were again thankful to help and enjoyed the day. Area residents passing by were also appreciative of the effort made to improving their neighborhood.
The next preserve and enhance the environment event for HELPCO will be on Sunday, January 24th, at Huron Crossing Park. The park is located at 509 W 116th Way in Northglenn (80234). The event is set to begin at 1:00 pm in the parking area and then spread out onto the surrounding areas. The cleanup is scheduled to last for 1 hour but the time will be extended if needed.
