Emerald Park Park in Broomfield was the most recent recipient of a preserve and enhance the environment event held by HELPCO on Sunday, April 22nd. The event began at 1:00 pm and ended just after 2:00 pm. After about an hour the park and the surrounding vicinity looked magnificent. The HELPCO wagon was again filled with a bag of litter and recyclables that were picked up by volunteers. A patron at the park was so appreciative of the work and made a recommendation for the location of the next preserve and enhance the environment event.
HELPCO will hold their next preserve and enhance the environment event on Sunday, April 29th at Broomfield County Commons Park. The park is located at 13200 Sheridan Blvd in Broomfield (80020). The event will start at 1:00 pm and is scheduled to last for 1 hour but the time will be extended if needed. Look for the HELPCO shirts if you would like to join us.
