HELPCO held a preserve and enhance the environment event at Park Village Park on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020. The cleanup began around 1:00 pm and lasted until about 2:00 pm. By the conclusion of the event the park and surrounding streets looked better than before. The HELPCO volunteers were again thankful to help and enjoyed the day. Area residents passing by were also appreciative of the effort made to improving their neighborhood.
The next preserve and enhance the environment event for HELPCO will be on Sunday, August 9th, at Woodglen Meadows Park. The parking area is located at 4501 E 127th Pl in Thornton (80241). The event is set to begin at 1:00 pm in the parking area and then spread out onto the surrounding areas. The cleanup is scheduled to last for 1 hour but the time will be extended if needed.
