Skylake Park in Thornton was the most recent location of a preserve and enhance the environment event held by HELPCO on Sunday, September 16th. The event began at 1:00 pm and ended around 2:00 pm. After the loyal volunteers were finished, the park and the surrounding vicinity looked astounding. The HELPCO wagon was again filled with litter and recyclables that were picked up by volunteers. It was yet another successful event offered by HELPCO.
HELPCO will hold their next preserve and enhance the environment event on Sunday, September 23rd at Briar Ridge Park. The park is located at 4198 E 117th Ave in Thornton (80233). The event will start at 1:00 pm and is scheduled to last for 1 hour but the time will be extended if needed. Look for the HELPCO shirts if you would like to join us.
