On Sunday, February 3rd, HELPCO went to J.D. Clayton Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until after 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked much better. The HELPCO volunteers were happy to help and received many thanks from area residents. HELPCO believes in helping everyone and will continue to be a presence in the community.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, February 10th at Pecos Park. The park is located at 1266 W 96th Ave in Thornton (80260). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
