On Sunday, May 26th, HELPCO went to John Breaux Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked fantastic. The HELPCO volunteers were thankful to help and motivated by their desire to make a difference. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to improve our communities.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, June 2nd at Coal Creek Park. The park is located at 1720 Elysian Field Dr in Lafayette (80026). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
