HELPCO held a preserve and enhance the environment event at Liberty Hills Park on Sunday, January 6th. The cleanup began at 1:00 pm and lasted until about 2:00 pm. By the conclusion of the event the park and surrounding streets looked superb. The HELPCO volunteers were glad to help and happy to be there. At the end of the event, there was another beautiful park and time well spent.
The next preserve and enhance the environment event for HELPCO will be on Sunday, January 13th at Yorkborough Park. The park is located at 2442 E 98th Place in Thornton (80229). The event is set to begin at 1:00 pm in the park and then spread out onto the surrounding areas. The cleanup is scheduled to last for 1 hour but the time will be extended if needed.
