HELPCO does it again with another great preserve and enhance the environment event. The event took place last Sunday, February 11th at McKay Lake. The fun began at 1 pm and lasted until 2:30 pm. In the end, the HELPCO wagon was overflowing with litter and recyclables gathered near the lake and area walkways. Residents responded with horn honks and waves upon seeing our group hard at work. The results were immediately noticeable and take HELPCO another step forward to establishing themselves as a source for consistent help everyone can rely on.
The next preserve and enhance the environment event for HELPCO is on Sunday, February 18th at Westlake Park. The park is located at 2800 W 135th Ave in Broomfield (80020). The event will begin at 1 pm in the park and will then branch out to the surrounding areas. The event is scheduled for 1 hour but will be extended if needed.
