On Sunday, July 29th, HELPCO went to Northhaven Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until just after 2:00 pm. After the event was completed the park and surrounding areas looked miraculous. The HELPCO volunteers once again received thank you’s from local citizens passing through the area. They were even able to provide some assistance to lost motorists along the way.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, August 5th, at Northmoor Park. The park is located at 1335 Birch St in Broomfield (80020). The event is scheduled to start at 3:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 2 hours, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
