On Sunday, September 8th, HELPCO went to Pioneer Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked pristine. The HELPCO volunteers were thankful to help and motivated by their desire to make a difference. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to improve our communities.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, September 15th, at Freedom Park. The park is located at 6330 Oneida St in Commerce City (80022). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
