On Sunday, March 24th, HELPCO went to Richard S. Steele Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until almost 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked remarkable. The HELPCO volunteers were excited to help and were motivated by their desire to make a difference. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to improve our communities.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, March 31st at McKay Lake Park. The park is located at 2301 W 138th Ave in Broomfield (80023). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 2 hours, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
