HELPCO held another preserve and enhance the environment event last Sunday, February 18th at Westlake Park. The event began at 1 pm and lasted until around 2:30 pm. By the end, the highly motivated HELPCO volunteers had filled their wagon with garbage and recyclables around the park and surrounding sidewalks. The volunteers were also able to assist a resident with a request for help. It was another job well done for the volunteers of HELPCO after seeing the results and the happy children playing in the park.
The next preserve and enhance the environment event for HELPCO is on Sunday, February 25th at Harambe Park. The park is located at 13496 King Lake Trail in Broomfield (80020). The event will begin at 2:30 pm in the park and will then branch out to the surrounding areas. The event is scheduled for 1 hour but will be extended if needed.
