On Sunday, May 6th, HELPCO went to North Midway Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until just after 2:00 pm. After the help was completed the park and surrounding sidewalks looked great. The HELPCO volunteers were even given words of encouragement by local citizens driving by. It was a another job well done and a goal accomplished.
The next preserve and enhance event will take place on Sunday, May 13th, at Zang Spur Park. The park is located at 2201 W 10th Ave in Broomfield (80020). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
