On Sunday, February 24th, HELPCO went to Ruston Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began at 1:00 pm and lasted until
almost 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked noticeably improved. The HELPCO volunteers were happy to help and were motivated regardless of the cold weather. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to establish a presence in the community.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, March 3rd at Squires Park. The park is located at 3450 W 99th Ave in Westminster (80031). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
