On Sunday, August 9th, HELPCO went to Woodglen Meadows Park for a preserve and enhance the environment event. The event began around 1:00 pm and lasted until almost 2:00 pm. After the event concluded the park and surrounding areas looked wonderful. The HELPCO volunteers did their best and were motivated by their desire to make a difference. HELPCO exists to help everyone and will continue to improve our communities.
The next preserve and enhance event will be on Sunday, August 16th, at Eastglen Park. The park is located at 12846 Dexter Way in Thornton (80241). The event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm in the park and then will extend onto the area streets. While the event is scheduled for 1 hour, the cleanup will continue on if needed.
